Tips and best practices to save costs and consumption

Turn off the lights when you do not need them!

In the cellars, stairways and garages, we recommend using neon lamps (incandescent lamps consume less and do not suffer from the intermittent power such as energy saving light bulbs).

At home in the winter, keep a temperature of not more than twenty degrees. At night the temperature drops.

If you use the air conditioner in the summer make sure all windows are closed, choose the dehumidifier which consumes less.

Do not cover radiators with curtains or panels: the air must circulate to spread the heat better.

Close the tap when you brush your teeth!

Use the washing machine at 40 degrees and at full load, use the short program for dishwashers.

Place your refrigerator and freezer away from heat sources, open them as little as possible.

Check that the refrigerator and freezer seals have are not ruined and close tightly.
Do not put hot food in refrigerator and freezer and defrost it regularly.
Leave a space of about 10 cm from household appliances such as refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine
Adjust the thermostat of the refrigerator as a function of the outside temperature and the amount of food contained.
Preheat the oven only when necessary and turn it off before the end of cooking so as to use the heat without consuming energy.
The oven is better ventilated (consumes less because it creates a uniform temperature)

When functioning, do not continually open the oven door!

Install the oven away from the refrigerator.

Do not leave computers, TVs, set-top box on standby. The led light is a waste of energy

Buy only what you need, recycle and separate the waste.
